Explain in brief steps to develop a Microprocessor based computer system.
The design of a microcomputer system should begin with the CPU module. It modules establishes the fundamental system timing, give an orderly means of starting up the processor, and give access to the system buses.
The second step is adding Memory, this is necessary to the stored program computer. By this unit CPU fetches instructions directing this in some task. But in a particular computer system there may be some types of memories all with its own hierarchy.
The third step is adding input/output: It is also termed as has user interface. Here basically two hardware methods for getting data in and out of a computer. First one is the parallel interface and for microprocessor it is the most natural. The second technique is the serial interface.
Name the three modes used by the DMA processor to transfer data? The three modes are:- a) Signal transfer mode (cycling stealing mode) b) Block transfer mode c) Demand
The one line diagram of a simple three phase power system is shown in figure below. Each generator is represented by an emf behind the transient reactance. All impedances are expre
What is meant by polling? Polling or device polling is a process which recognizes the device that has interrupted the microprocessor.
Magnetic flux and flux density Magnetic flux is the amount of the magnetic field (or the number of lines of force) formed by a magnetic source. The symbol represented magnetic
Explain Hall effect. Consider a slab of material wherein there is a current density J resulting by an applied electric field Ex in the x- direction. The electrons will drift al
