The environment is not a simple distribution of gases but is highly complex and structured. It comprises of four segments:

 

  • Lithosphere (Land)
  • Hydrosphere (Water on land)
  • Biosphere (Life on earth)
  • Atmosphere (Air surrounding on Earth)
