Q. Module Site Installation Preparation?
The following tasks shall be accomplished at the Facility site prior to setting the modules on the piles:
After module support piles have been installed, the cap plate of each pile shall be surveyed to determine the top elevation of the cap plate when flat shim plates are used. Survey each corner of the cap plates when tapered shims are used. Refer to the construction drawings as appropriate, for various site conditions.
The ground between the piles shall be cleared of debris and the entire area shall be levelled as required to suite the placement of module either by crawler, RTVs and/or crane. The Project Site construction support shall obtain from logistics the area and elevation of the ground that needs levelling. In many instances an area in front of RTV or crawler setting the modules must also be levelled.
