Graphing sets of numbers, Mathematics

Q. Graphing Sets of Numbers?

Ans.

To graph a set of numbers on a number line means to plot, or locate, those positions on the line. The number that corresponds to a point on the number line is called the coordinate of the point. The point on the number line itself is called the graph of the number.

For example, here's the graph of the set {-2, 1, 4} on a number line.

Note: The graphs of -2, 1, and 4 are the points AB, and C, respectively. But the coordinates of points AB, and C are the actual numbers -2, 1, and 4
