Flow work:

Flow work is energy possessed by the fluid by virtue of its pressure.

Displacement Work:

When piston moves in cylinder from position 1 to 2 with volume changing from V1to V2, the amount of work W done by system can be given by  613_flow work1.png 
The value of work done is given by area under the process 1 - 2 on the given diagram
