 Contiguous allocation:

  • Every file will be allocated contiguous space in the memory.
  • Allow the block size be 1K
  • If a 50K files desires to be allocated space after that 50 blocks be able to be used. Each one of these blocks will be placed in neighboring memory locations. Though, this method is able to lead to internal fragmentation. To evade this second kind of allocation can be used.
