Define the term - Array
A fixed length, ordered collection of values of same type stored in contiguous memory locations; collection may be ordered in several dimensions.
Values stored in an array are known as elements. Elements are accessed by indexing into array: an integer value is used to indicate ordinal value of the element. For instance, if a is an array with 20 elements, then a [6] is the element of a with ordinal value 6. Indexing may start at any number, but normally it starts at 0. In the instance above a[6] is the seventh value in a when indexing start at 0.
If a node having two children is deleted from a binary tree, it is replaced by?? Inorder successor
Retrieval of information is made simpler when it is stored into some predefined order. Therefore, Sorting is a very important computer application activity. Several sorting algorit
Suppose there are exactly five packet switches (Figure 4) between a sending host and a receiving host connected by a virtual circuit line (shown as dotted line in figure 4). The tr

Which sorting algorithm is easily adaptable to singly linked lists? Simple Insertion sor t is easily adabtable to singly linked list.
There are three kinds of tree traversals, namely, Postorder , Preorder and Inorder. Preorder traversal: Each of nodes is visited before its children are visited; first the roo
Illustrates the program segment for Quick sort. It uses recursion. Program 1: Quick Sort Quicksort(A,m,n) int A[ ],m,n { int i, j, k; if m { i=m; j=n+1; k
A useful tool which is used for specifying the logical properties of a data type is called the abstract data type or ADT. The term "abstract data type" refers to the fundamental ma
Red-Black trees have introduced a new property in the binary search tree that means an extra property of color (red, black). However, as these trees grow, in their operations such
