A closed-loop system has a hold circuit and process as shown below. Determine G(z) when T = 1 and Gp(s) = 2 / (s + 2). A sampled-data system such as that presented in the above problem has a sampling period T = 0.05s and has G(z) = K (z3 + 10.3614z2 + 9.758z + 0.8353) / (z4 - 3.7123z3 + 5.1644z2 - 3.195z + 0.7408)

1. Determine K when the two real poles break away from the real axis.

2. Calculate the maximum K for stability.

3. Use MATLAB to plot the Root Locus.
