Write an essay that answers the following question:
What does "One of These Days" communicate about the balance or imbalance of power?

Use these notes as the basis for developing a thesis paragraph. The paragraph should have sentences that address each of the three categories of power. 2. Your thesis paragraph will help your teacher determine whether or not you have identified a valid line of argument in interpreting the story. Once your receive feedback, a revised thesis paragraph can serve as your introduction.
3. The notes you develop and fill in for the chart will represent details from the story you can include in your essay to support your argument. Your teacher can review your notes to determine whether or not you are collecting enough support and developing a logical argument for your essay.
4. After you complete the chart and write your thesis paragraph in the space provided, explain whether or not you think there is a shift of power in "One of These Days." Support your answer.
5. Turn in your completed chart and thesis paragraph to your teacher and ask for feedback. After your teacher responds, write your essay.
