Thermodynamic Process

When one or more of the properties of a system modify, a change in the state of the system takes place. The pathway of the succession of states via which the system passes is termed as the thermodynamic process. One illustration of a thermodynamic process is rising the temperature of a fluid though maintaining a constant pressure. The other illustration is raising the pressure of a confined gas whilst maintaining a constant temperature.
