The Software project management is an umbrella activity in the software engineering.  It will start before any technical activity is initiated and continues by the definition, development, and the maintenance of computer software.

People must be organized into effective teams to motivated do high quality software work and coordinated to achieve effectual communication.

The problem must be communicated by  customer to developer the partitioned into its constituent arts and positioned for work through the software team. The process   must be adapted by the people and the problem.   A common process framework is used for an appropriate software engineering paradigm is applied and a set of work tasks is chosen to get the job done.

The pivotal element in all software projects is people and  software engineers can be organized in a number  of  various  team structures  which  range  from  traditional  control  hierarchies  to open paradigm teams.  In a variety of coordination and communication techniques can be applied to support the work of the team. In normally, reviews informal and formal person to person communication has the most value for practitioners.
