Master Production Schedule or MPS

The production quantities of the main product lines listed in the aggregate plan should be transformed into a very exact schedule of only one product. This is termed as Master Production Schedule or MPS.

This is a products list to be manufactured, while they should be delivered and completed, and in what quantities. The master schedule should be based upon an exact estimate of demand and a realistic assessment of the production of company's capacity.

Products comprises in the Master Production Schedule divide it into three classifications as:
