The Kulinkovich reaction explains the organic synthesis of cyclopropanols through reaction of esters with dialkyldialkoxytitanium reagents, formed in situ from Grignard reagents bearing hydrogen in beta-position and titanium(IV) alkoxides like titanium isopropoxide. This reaction was founded by Kulinkovich and coworkers in 1989. The titanium reagent can be taken or used catalytically.
