Why are flexible organisations required?

Flexible organisations:

Workforce flexibility will be required because of uncertain market circumstances or seasonal changes into demand. This will help accomplish cost-effectiveness for an organisation. But numerical flexibility enables a firm to adjust quickly to changing levels of demand through increasing or decreasing the hours worked through its workers or by the utilization of subcontractors, temporary or part-time workers to meet periods of raised demand.
