Which enzyme acts on pyruvate in mitochondria and converts it to acetyl CoA?Name its components and cofactors associated with it.

Pyruvate dehydrogenase complex acts on pyruvate in mitochondria  and converts it  to  acetyl CoA.  Pyruvate dehydrogenase, dihydrolipoyl transacetylase  and dihydrolipoyl dehydrogenase are its  components. The cofactors  associated with it are NAD, FAD, TDP, CoA and lipoic acid.
