Assignment Help:

WHAT WAS THE IMMUNITY FROM JURISDICTION

States are recognized as having authority over people, things and events within their own territory and therefore may exercise jurisdiction over them. However, there are certain cases in which the subjects of domestic laws of a country may be granted immunity from jurisdiction under the same laws. Similarly, international law also recognizes that certain  people, things and events are entitled to immunity from its enforcement. It is important to note that the immunity is from the enforcement rather than from the law itself
