This is a traditional approach that is typified by a functional approach to work in that departments work onto tasks relevant to their exact function.
The company is organized onto a hierarchical basis along with managers matching tasks along with suitable individuals.
While things go wrong, managers are mostly familiar with that type of organization which they know what questions to ask and many actions to takes. The most advantage of this kind of structure is considered as functional quality. Coordination across departments, functions and tasks is the Limitation of Vertical Organizations.
