What is the Scope of Waste heat boilers

This specification covers the minimum requirements for the design, material selections, fabrication, testing and inspection of shop- / or field- assembled and welded waste heat recovery boilers.  The steam drum shall produce dry saturated steam (DSS) at a maximum continuous rating (MCR) as specified on the data sheet.

The boiler's circuit shall be designed for operation with a steam drum and a fired tube-type exchanger.  All control equipment and all instruments shall be located inside a housing enclosing one end of the steam drum.

Each boiler shall be of natural circulation type with individual circulation ratio not less than 12:1.

Each boiler shall be furnished with a steam drum supplied with relief (as approved by WorleyParsons Canada) and blowdown valves, internals, i.e. cyclone type separator, chevron type dryers, feed inlet pipe, riser, downcomer and steam-out connections.

Supplier is responsible for the design, construction and supply of all structures for all equipment support. 

Any deviation from this specification requires prior written acceptance by WorleyParsons Canada.
