What is the meaning of Ideometric approach
Ideometric approach in the context of neuropsychological assessment emphasises the patient's premorbid functioning with reference to education, occupation, social and occupational functioning as well as performance on other neuropsychological tests. Factors like the patient's currents sensory/motor deficiencies, motivational deficits and fatigue level are noted. These are taken into account in interpreting the neuropsychological examination.
