Q. What is the function of vitamin E? In which foods can it be found?

Vitamin E is also known as tocopherol is a fat-soluble vitamin that participates as coenzyme in the respiratory chain the final stage of the aerobic cellular respiration. Its deficiency may cause sterility spontaneous abortions and muscle dystrophy.

Vitamin E is mainly found in peanut oil and corn oil, wheat germ, milk, leafy vegetables and eggs.
