What is the difference between testing and quality assurance, Software Engineering

Differentiate between testing and QA.

- Quality Assurance is more a preventive thing, which ensures quality in company and hence the product instead of just testing the product for software bugs whereas testing means 'quality control'.

- Quality control measures quality of a product whereas quality assurance measures quality of processes used to create a quality product.
