Cold and hot working:

When the deformation is carried out at temperature below the recrystallization temperature, it is known as cold working like cold rolling, drawing, pressing, spinning, impact extrusion. When the deformation is at temperature higher than the recrystallization temperature the process is called as hot working like forging, rolling, extrusion.
