Q. What is IFD in project management?

The P&IDs now reflect the next intermediate stage of development and incorporate any changes requested by the Customer during the IFA review.

This revision permits all disciplines to proceed in confidence with detailed design and drawing preparation. As this issue releases all engineering disciplines to proceed with detailed engineering and drawing development, it is imperative that this issue incorporates as much accurate information as possible.
