Q. What is function point?

Ans. Function point methods the functionality from the user point of view that is on the basis of what the user request and receives in return. Consequently it deals with the functionality being delivered as well as not with the lines of code source modules files and so on. measuring size in this way has the merit that size measure is independent of the technology utilized to deliver the function.
