What is Friction?
When we think about friction, there is one more place for energy to go - heat. When you push a book across a table, does the energy of the book change? Not if in the end, it is sitting still at the same height. Where did the energy from the work you did pushing the book across the table go? Into fighting friction, which does work but does not change the total energy of the book. It does no useful work. The energy used fighting friction goes into heat generated where the objects touch, the surface of the book and the surface of the table. Friction always uses up energy, because it always works against motion.
Q. A capacitor of capacitance 2 μF is in an ac circuit of frequency 1000 Hz. If the rms value of the applied emf is 10 V, find the effective current flowing through the circuit.
The opposition offered to the circular motion of bodies like sphere, disc, ring, cylinder etc. on another surface is known as rolling friction.
UNIFORM VELOCITY: If a body covers equal displacements in equivalent intervals of time, though the smallest intervals may be, then the velocity of the body is said to be unifor

The least count of the stopwatch is 0.1 second because in stopwatch we can measure milliseconds also...
Light coupling: Another way to look at light guiding in a fibre is to measure the fibre's acceptance angle. This angle is the angle within which the light should enter the fib
