Q. What is Coronary artery disease?

Nutrition is a basic prerequisite for maintaining a desirable body weight and that diet has a major role in the prevention and treatment of several degenerative diseases. Overweight can be one of the risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD). Risk factors as we know are conditions and habits that have been demonstrated to be associated with the increased probability of a disease. We will study about cardiovascular diseases and learn about the genetic and environmental factors, which lead to elevated serum lipids, elevated blood pressure and development of other clinical manifestations associated with coronary artery disease (CAD).
