What is cardiac output?
Cardiac output is the volume of blood the heart pumps within a minute. Cardiac output (CO) is equivalent to the stroke volume (SV) of the heart multiplied by the heart rate (HR). Therefore, cardiac output is given by the equation: CO=HR * SV.
To work out the gravitational potential energy of an object the equation is: GPE = m x g x h Where: m = the mass of the object (kg) g = gravitational field strength (on earth tha
