What is Angles?
An angle is made up of two rays with a common endpoint, which is called the vertex. The sides of the angle are rays. An angle is denoted by "θ".
When two lines intersect, angles are formed. The units we use to measure angles are called degrees (θ). Degrees measure how wide the angle is open.
An acute angle is an angle whose measure is between 0 and 90.
A right angle is an angle whose measure is 90θ.
An obtuse angle is an angle whose measure is between 90θ and 180θ.
A straight angle is an angle whose measure is 180θ .
Angles are congruent if they have the same measure.
