Collateralized Mortgage Obligation (CMO) - SECURITY whose cash flows equal the difference between cash flows of collateralizing ASSETS and collateralized obligations of a securitized TRUST. Characteristics of CMO residuals differ greatly and can be extremely complex in nature.
