ANSWER: There are three components of components: Information, people, and IT components. Information kinds are domain expertise, "Why" information, and the facts of the particular situation. The people involved are the knowledge engineer, domain expert, and the knowledge workers. The IT components in an expert system are the knowledge acquisition component, knowledge base, the Inference engine, the user interface, and the explanation module.
