What are Sewing Kits?

Sewing Kits are modules which contain a not used mix of gates, any other cells or flip-flops considered potentially helpful for an unforeseen metal fix. Well a Sewing Kit may be given in RTL through instantiating the literal cells through the vendor library. The cells into the kit are generally connected that is each cell's output is unconnected and inputs are tied to ground. Clocks and resets may be wired in the larger signals of design, or not.
