CONSIDER A BARBER SHOP WITH ONE CHAIR, ONE BARBER AND NO ROOM FOR CUSTOMER TO WAIT. IF THE CHAIR IS EMPTY WHEN THE CUSTOMER ARRIVES,HE ENTER THE SHOP AND HIS HAIR CUT BEGINS. IF THE CHAIR IS OCCUPIED WHEN HE ARRIVES, HE DOES NOT ENTER THE SHOP, ON THE AVERAGE THE CUSTOMER ARRIVES EVERY 15 MINUTES, AND EACH HAIR CUT TAKES 10 MINUTES.
REQUIRED.
1. DETERMINE THE PROPORTION OF TIME THAT THE BARBER IS IDLE.
2. DETERMINE THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF CUSTOMER TURNED AWAY PER HOUR.
3. SUPPORT THE ARRIVING CUSTOMER DECIDE TO WAIT OUTSIDE. HOW LONG WILL BE WAITING BEFORE THEY CAN HAVE HAIRCUT?
4. SUPPOSE ARRIVING CUSTOMER,DECIDE TO WAIT OUTSIDE , WHOW LONG WILL IT TAKE THEM TO WAIT UNTIL THE HAIR CUT FINISHED?
