Throughout the term you will be designing and creating a web site that you will submit during the final week of the course. The weekly assignments will help you develop the skills that you need for this project. You will be selecting one of the topics at the bottom of this page for your web site. Be sure to read the following project requirements very carefully. This project is a big part of your grade in this course. So, be sure to start early and meet all of the project requirements. If you have any questions, be sure to post them in the Open Forum for this course.

Project Requirements

• Use information from chapters 1,2,3,5 & 9 (any extra content is up to you).
• Include a storyboard that matches your final web site design.
• Minimum of 4 pages (excluding any frame page).
• Use cascading style sheets on all pages.
• All pages must be valid XHTML documents.
• Tables should be used for organization.
• Each page must link to all of the other pages (navigation).
• Each page should be well formatted and include content.
• At least one page should have a horizontal rule.
• Every page should include an image with "alt" text (align all images).
• At least one page should contain a nested list.
• At least one page should contain 4 Heading styles.
• At least one page should contain an anchor tag.
• At least one page should contain a link to an email address.
• Use font size, font family, and spacing (i.e. line-height) on at least one page.
• At least one page should contain a link to an external web page/website and open in a new target window.
• Use at least 2 different colors in your website (hexadecimal values).
• Topics can include almost anything that you would feel comfortable showing your parents, minister or future employer.
• There must be some form of content on each page (you are not making pages just to make a page).
• BE CREATIVE!!!
• Do NOT use a web site development tool that automatically generates code
