Because non-verbal cues can mean more than spoken words and speak louder than spoken words, mastering non-verbal communication skills at work represents a challenge (Guffey's, 2007).

(a) Using examples differentiate between verbal and non-verbal communication at work.

(b) According to the author, the eyes, the face and the body send silent messages. If you were a communication trainer, name and elaborate on any five advice you would have given to your employees to improve their non-verbal communication skills.
