Various barriers to successful communication are as illustrated here:

a. More levels within the organisation structure through that information have to pass.

b. Ill and Long structured channels of communications.

c. Heavy work-loads at specific levels into the organisation structure.

d. Attitude: either not to hear or hear the one expects.

e. Prestige and superiority complicated.

f. Sender and Receiver consisting of different perceptions.

g. Sender not capable to symbolize the information accurately.

h. Prejudiced and biased attitude of the receiver.

i. Receiver not capable to obtain the information (subject to various meanings) explained.

j. Receiver avoiding conflicting information.

k. Receiver tending to estimate information through his own angle.

l. Receiver emotionally upset
