A voltage controller, also known as an AC voltage controller or AC regulator is an electronic module which is based on either thyristors, SCRs, TRIACs or IGBTs, that converts a fixed voltage, fixed frequency alternating current (AC) electrical input supply to get variable voltage within output delivered to a resistive load.
