The egyptian religion, History

Assignment Help:

I'm currently taking Humanities. Anyways, we had to watch a video on how our religion today is plagiarized based off of the Egyptian religion. In Egyptian religion there was a god named Amen and it is said that Christians today say amen after prayer due to the Egyptian god Amen.
I would just like to know why we say amen after prayer and if it's actually based off of the Egyptian god Amen. Thank you :)
