Q. Surface Preparation and Coating?

Vendor shall chemically clean all foreign material and commercially sandblast (SSPC-SP-10) mill scale and rust from all surfaces to be painted.
Vendor shall use a zinc rich primer on all piping and steel operating below 200^oF (93^oC).

All parts operating above 200^oF (93^oC) are to have one coat of high temperature (silicon) aluminum paint applied according to paint manufacturer instructions.
