Successful were the populists, History

Assignment Help:

I am looking an answer to the question, "How Successful were the Populists". On one hand they did spark a social revolution, which led to the rise of the Progressives. On the other hand they did not accomplish much. Act's such as the Keating-Owens Act, the meat inspection act, and even the 17th amendment were all passed by the progressives.

So, how successful were the progressives in achieving their goals? in what ways did the settlers contribute to the exploitation of native Americans
