Issue regarding state succession concerns international organizations. There are more than 30,000 treaties entered into between one or more states. For these treaties to be followed and to make them applicable, certain international organizations are established in order to ensure conformity with it. The states then become members of those international organizations and thus creating problems pertaining to state succession.
