Active Factors or Active Soil Formers       

It has been recognized for many years that climate  is one of the major state factors controlling soil formation. Soil climate regimes which manifest in the combined factors of soil moisture and soil temperature, are important in a wide range of applications including soil quality improvement, precision farming, integrated crop management, and ecosystem management. Besides the climate, the biosphere comprising of flora and fauna is also an important active  soil forming factor.
