Sort algorithm for Sorting vectors of structures:
Note that only the price field is compared in the sort algorithm, but the whole structure is replaced. That is therefore each element in the vector, that is a structure of information about a specific software package, that remains intact.
We generated a function printpackages , that prints the information in a nice table format. By calling the mystructsort function and also the function to print will elaborate this as:
>> printpackages(packages)
True color matrice: The true color matrices are the other way to represent images. The true color matrices are 3-dimensional matrices. The first two coordinates are the coordi
Dot Product: The dot or inner product of two vectors a and b is written as a • b and is defined as In another words, this is like matrix multiplication when multiplyi
Displaying the cell arrays: There are several techniques of displaying the cell arrays. The celldisp function shows all elements of the cell array: >> celldisp(cellro
Variable Scope: The scope of any of variable is the workspace in which it is valid. The workspace generated in the Command Window is known as the base workspace. As we know
Function strncmp: The function strncmp compares only the first n characters in the strings and ignores the rest. The initial two arguments are strings to compare, and third ar
Replacing, Finding, and separating strings: There are numerous functions which find and replace the strings, or parts of strings, within the other strings and functions which
Illustration of Preallocating a Vector: Illustration of calling the function: >> myveccumsum([5 9 4]) ans = 5 14 18 At the first time in the loop, outvec wil
Creating Cell arrays: There are many ways to create cell arrays. For illustration, we will create a cell array in which one element will store an integer, one element store ch
Illustration of gauss-jordan: Here's an illustration of performing such substitutions by using MATLAB >> a = [1 3 0; 2 1 3; 4 2 3] a = 1 3 0 2 1 3 4 2
Print from the structure: To print from the structure, a disp function will show either the whole structure or a field. >> disp(package) item_no: 123 cost: 19.99
