Rutherford’s atomic model failure

Rutherford proposed that the electrons circulate around the nucleus.
However according to electromagnetic theory, such circulating electrons should radiate energy continuously.
If this is so, gradually the electrons will lose energy by circulating in circles of decreasing radii.
After sometime, they should fall into the nucleus.
This will lead to the collapse of the atom.
It is observed that the atom is stable, and it does not collapse.
Therefore, Rutherford model cannot account for the stability of an atom. Hence it failed.
