Requirements for a Good Research Design:

a. Nature  and scope  of the problem  to be studied must be  stated clearly or say must  be well  defined and formulated.

b. If any  hypothesis  is to be tested it must  to clearly formulated.

c.  The research design  must  adequately answer the research  questions. And test the hypothesis.

d. Relevant variables  must be  clearly  identified and  operational zed. Adequate  methods of collecting  the  information  and methods of logically deriving the conclusion must be developed. Only   then  control  of variance is possible.

e. The research  design  must be  structured  in a manner  that it fulfils the need of internal and external validity.
