Bone cancer
-  A portion of the skeleton being destroyed by cancer will be trying to rebuild itself and will take up more or many elements than normal bone.
- The blood is injected with 500MBq of 99mTc and make a scan .
- Radioactive fluorine atoms 18F which fit into the bone crystal in place of  OH.

Kidney :
-  A small amount of radioactive hippuric acid is injected into the blood .
- A kidneys are viewed by gamma camera and sequential images are made every few minutes
