Assignment Help:

Quality assurance plan

The quality assurance plan is to establish the goals, the process and the responsibilities needed to implement the effective quality assurance functions. When a project consists of several hundred or even several thousands of tasks then planning the quality assurance activities may be difficult to track. The tasks should be assembled into the quality assurance plan which will document all the activities and also allow the effective management. The mature organisations may have a prescribed format for the quality assurance plans and if it is not then the project team will have to develop one. The quality assurance plan should have at least the following elements:

  • The WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) reference number for the concerned tasks
  • The statement of requirement which is usually for the customer.
  • The statement of the specification which is specific and also measurable.
  • The description of the assurance activity which signifies what has to be done.
  • The schedule information which signifies when it has to be done.
  • The designation of the responsible entity which signifies who will do it.

Quality Assurance plan involves outlining the particular tasks that have to be done and also accomplished within a specified time frame.
