Explain the exact process of Neodymium-Yttrium-Aluminium-Garnet Laser.

While the flash lamp is switched start, the intense beam of white light through the lamp excites the Nd3+ ions leading to population inversion and at last one can acquire the laser radiation at the wavelength of 1.06 µm. The energy level diagram defining the exact process occurred into this type of laser is demonstrated here as given below:
