On state voltage drop
It is the maximum instantaneous on state voltage measured under pulse conditions to avoid excessive dissipation at a particular junction temperature. It may also define as the maximum voltage drop across the anode and cathode terminals of SCR at stated conditions when the devices are in the on state. To prevent heating of the junction the VT is measured at a short pulse width and low duty cycle.
