(a) Carry out a topological analysis for the circuit shown in Figure 1.   

 (i) Construct a graph for the circuit

 (ii) State the different trees you can choose.   

(b) Use the Node-Voltage method to analyse the circuit:  

 (i) Select a tree and deduce the links forming the co-tree.

 (ii) Deduce the fundamental loops in the graph 

 (iii) Identify the fundamental cut sets associated with the graph.  

(c) (i)  From the topological analysis deduce the number of independent equations required to determine the tree branch voltages.

 (ii) Solve the equations and hence find each link voltage and the remaining branch voltages.
