Pretend you are faced with the situation as it was in 1990, prior to the decision to set up NHS Supplies, and you have been asked by the NHS to help it to improve its performance by tackling some of the problems reported in the case.

Use the structure set out in the case presentation guidelines (as below) and when you get to the Analysis section use analytical techniques taught in the course to conduct the analysis and thus generate the recommendations and plan you set out in the final section. As before, the table below shows the headings you should use to structure your report and the marks available for each section and the discussion in the later part of the week.
